What I don't get is Luca scolds the team leader in public while gives Stephano :banghead: kudos in public

Well either Luca and Stephano share rooms on the road or he gave SD the kiss of death

To be fair to the Dom, he is just a line manager at Ferrari, he is not a true TP like Todt was. He just does what Montezemolo wants. I doubt he has the say over drivers, engineers, car design etc. he just manages trackside as far as i can see. He is not an engineer, he has no experience of other teams, he is a guy who started of at Ferrari organising some part and got promoted because he is family and has respect within the team.

He is just a manifestation of what holds Ferrari back, like all that stuff after Todt of hiring all Italian Ferrari diehards. They changed their minds about that quickly and sacked Aldo Costa etc and brought back foreigners

but they kept the Dom

Well said Todt was the "DON" while Luca enjoys to "DOM" Stepphie :whip: "LUCA I HAVE BEEN A BAD BOY HIT ME AGAIN"

Impressive drive from The Fonz today I must say. 9th to 2nd...the guy knows how to weave his way on Lap 1, that's for sure.

Strong run by Nando and he was motivated to get the job done ....too bad the car didn't have enough to complete the job

It was obvious the team was expecting rain with that large rear wing they ran....I applaud  the chance they took

They needed to use a different plan...If rain would have came nando would have won

Season is over for both the Drivers and manufactures Championship but Nando can win at Monza and the Tifosi would be happy

With Massa :banghead: stinking up the rear Ferrari will be lucky to come in third in the manufactures Championship

I think if it had rained today the Mercs might have had a bit more to say.

A bit, but it followed on from the suggestion that Nando would have won if it rained.....because I think the Mercs would have stopped him if it rained.

Alonso looked glum post-race today. A fantastic recovery though nonetheless

I think it was the realisation of how much advantage Vettel had.

I think Fernando and most Tifosi know that changing the tires to Red Bull's specification has made the job of beating them almost impossible. Still Nando drove a great race and, upon reflection, with the improvement in the car, the team will draw a lot of positives to carry into the rest of the season.

I feel sorry for Alonso. This guy does deserve much more success in F1 - but I know I will always remember him as a legend of the sport. I would love to see him get another WDC before he retires though....

We'll only really know next year with the change of regs.... But really F1 is a new sport now, with Ferrari and McLaren always seemingly on the back foot and playing catch up from the start of the season.

Should Ferrari still be behind next year, I doubt Alonso will ever get his 3rd WDC...

I feel sorry for both Alonso and even more Lewis . Lewis one , Alonso two and Vettel more than likely four. That does not reflect the relative talents of those three drivers, but that's the way the cookie crumbles in F1.
