great qualifying, I was happy with resta, even happier when Rosberg stole it then sad when I saw thed bulls going go faster ] then happy Hamilton was going even faster

Best damn quali session I've seen, despite the eventual polesitter Shame Rosberg caught the flag, he would've beaten Lewis' time for sure.

Lewis was last across the line and that mattered,Rosberg was 5 seconds behind but missed it,Hamilton was 1.1 faster than everybody in the middle sector,and that mattered.

No doubt that was the best quali of the year.

Ross Brawn has just revealed on Sky that Paul di Resta had DRS for his first lap, then it was disabled so he thought pole might be tough.

Fantastic lap by the Mercs but god damn that was exciting, I was screaming at the TV when Ben, DC and Gary Anderson were talking about Paul getting pole; I knew they'd curse it and the rain would suddenly stop and it did!

BBC weather radar suggests that alot of rain for the race,also Merc have set their cars up for wet weather,wet setups dont really exist anymore but Merc rear wings are larger than the Red Bulls.I think Red Bull will struggle abit if it rains,Hamilton was second faster in S2 where downforce is the main thing,but we'll find out.

Nice one Hamms, Thats an amazing lap, you can see him catch Seb in sectors 2 and 3, and the 7th gear stretch was just pure machine poetry

Didn't get to see qualifying until late, but that was an exciting Q session, no worrying about conserving tires, just go hard and plan around the raindrops. Fantastic play by Force India but in the end it's hard to beat a fast car and a fast driver with just strategy. I think Mercedes has shown that it known how to plan for things to the second... pretty much what we've come to expect from Red Bull but they keep coming up short on Saturday, let's hope the Sunday trend continues!
