I think Irl races are too long.they should limit the miles to between 200 and 250 miles per race. 500 miles takes about 4 hours to do.

one things for sure, Gold coasts Indy race will go off even more with all the old teams back here in Oz

It's a shame to be honest. It should be IRL base to merge with the Champ Car one. Basicly there's no real merge, just the absortion of one part of CCWS into IRL, which will continue as is in its own way, with its own name. All Indycar/CCWS history will have no continuity. But i got to guess a non oval series in the US was hard to keep anyway.

they will still have SOME non ovl races, but they'll have a mix, obviously
