My sister has one..JLE...it's her initials. She was lucky, her name is Julie and it was the year J, she could choose the other bits, so she got it for next to nothing.

I've always thought it a bit pretentious, but this one is tempting....if you could afford it....which I cant :rofl: and actually wouldn't pay even if I could. It's a sweet number plate though!!

My mother had a personalised number plate when I was younger, but it's not something I'd choose to do for myself. I can't really see any benefit in relation to money spent.

I love personalized plates because of the creativity involved in coming up with something unique.
Here in Ontario, they cost about $250 dollars today; but, they were a mere $100 when I got mine.

Here are some:

When I got my Porsche I wanted to get plates that read F1NALLY. Combining my favorite sport with the sentiment of getting the car I wanted as a kid.

It was already taken. :irked:

When I got my car I wanted BMW...but the prices were INSANE...mofos in this country take number plates (numbers) very seriously and all the bimmers had them snapped up, the ones left have sick prices I could buy another decent car.

My Dad once asked at a car garage when he was choosing a reg' no. for P155 OFF. They didn't have it on their books. Strange that. :hehe:

I'd like one but then I just think of it sticking too easily in the mind of the police or some nutter so maybe not such a good idea.
