It's still 4 days away, and with the weather as unpredictable as it is in that area, it's pointless asking about our thoughts now. Let's revisit this topic two, or even one, days out.

I like the idea of 2 DRS zones here. It's always exciting because you know you can either try a pass on another part of the track, but then you might give up that position back when you reach the DRS zones. So you have to weigh the advantages of passing elsewhere on the track to waiting it out and staying close behind until you hit the detection zone, then using 2 DRS areas, and if you can get ahead then you pretty much have a full lap to try to get enough space between you and the guy behind you. It adds another dimension of excitement.

Sure it is different. Weber got away with it, because he knew what he was doing. Alonso knew that Weber was there, and acted accordingly. Perez just dive bombs people and hopes for the best .

Alonso confirmed to Webber that he knew he was there and was going to do a kamikaze on his blindside? Maybe Alonso called him by in car mobile phone.
Webber made an assumption, there was no guarantee Alonso knew he was there or knew he wouldnt back off. Infact no diferent from a move Lewis tried on Mark himself at Singapore a couple of years ago, that resluted in Webber (a driver with Alonsos experience) 'failing to see him' and shutting the door on him.
Perez got away with similar and crashed with similar, but somehow its ok when it works but foolhardy when it doesnt?

Nearly the same thing, your point of view is different... most of the times a successful pass depends on the awareness and or permissiveness of the car in front. If it was Raikkonen there instead of Alonso, we may have had a ''Perez'' incident.

Minor adjustments have been made to the Spa-Francorchamps circuit ahead of this year's Belgian Grand Prix, with officials moving to alter drainage, barriers and kerbing.

Along the main straight, new drainage slots have been cut across the first five rows of the grid in an attempt to better cope with potentially adverse weather conditions.

Shortly after, the tyre barriers situated around the outside of Turns 3 and 4 – covering Eau Rouge through Raidillon – have been renewed to ensure optimal safety levels.

In addition, extra kerbs, precisely 50mm higher than the usual structures at the venue, are now situated behind the kerbing at Turns 5, 7, 8, 9, 12, 13, 14 and 15.
