For me Alonso is the ultimate route b driver, like Prost, relentlessly efficient at scoring points and winning campaigns, lots of cunning and patience. Like a pest you can never count out as long as he has a car. Happy to lose a battle and win the war.

Lewis and Seb are more route A types, drive faster than anyone else, overtake others, dominate on track, go for the win today as tomorrow is another day

I value the route A guys higher pound for pound but then not everyone does and not even the history books do but Seb seems to be cracking both tricks at once, let's see how Lewis goes when he gets a chance, Alonso already fluffed his chance when he let Lewis affect his focus. He had McLaren st his beck and call like Seb has RBR and Lewis has Merc

Same car, short race, Lewis first, Sen second Alonso third I reckon

Are you saying returning to Apple was the reason for his terminal illness? :yikes:

Have you seen the radiation of a mobile phone. It is safer to put your head in a microwave than make a phone call

... there's no denying that you learn more from a loss than you do from a win.

Ahem... have you noticed my signature?

Not a good starting poistion for Alonzo :( ....starting from 9th he will be pressed to make the podium however Alonzo is positive  about the car this weekend and positive Alonzo  can do amazing things during the race. Hopefully Massa :banghead: doesn't take out the team leader. If that happens  he better hightail it back to the airport with his posse :yikes: and not bother showing up at Monza as the tifosi  will hang Massa :banghead: by his ankles

Massa's a sweetie :cloud9:

 A Sweetie? I wouldn't know nor want to know (not into guys myself  ) but on serious note being a "Sweetie" as you refer him as being doesn't provide the skills to be a Ferrari driver :nono: . Massa is washed up :thedoor: to be a Ferrari driver. Maybe a Sauber/Marusia/Force India/William driver but a Ferrari driver? No :shtstorm:

Well, maybe you're right, and Ferrari have been very patient with Felipe. But you have to remember that he did whup Kimi's arse in the past and nearly won a world champioship. He and Smedly are great :D , love them!! I'm not sure If Massa's accident or the advent of having to kowtow ( not sure if Ive spelt that right) to Alonso was his undoing...but he isn't the Massa he was, that's clear..........but he is sweet...and back on the subject of arses, guys also think he has a cute one...eh DD :D

 Kicked Kimi's arse?

Maybe I am incorrect but didn't Kimi win a World Driving Championship in a Ferrari while Massa did the :sickman: only to lose it on the last couple of corners of the last race to Louie Hamilton?

You know what racers say about second place.....you are the first losers!!!!

So let's put this into proper perspective....Kimi drove for Ferrari from 2007-2009 (3 years) and won the championship in 2007 while Massa has driven for Ferrari from 2006 to present (8 years) and has won 0 Nada Zero Zilch driving championships and it would be a miracle if he does this year.

Another stat is that in no year that he has been a teammate to Alonzo has he scored even 50% of the total points that Alonzo has in any given year. As a number 2 driver he has not done his part to protect the #1 driver by taking points away from the drivers that Alonzo is fighting for in the championship nor assisting the team win the manufactures Championship

So I ask is Massa worthly of another year? Kimi will bring the skills needed to secure the manufactures championship to Ferrari, as a matter of fact just about any driver other than Massa would help the cause. Massa has seen his better days gone :wavey: and time to retire to the Brazlian Stock Car or Brazilian Truck Series where his skills of crashin :banghead: and rubbing carbon fiber :smmack: will be put to its best use

No one is arguing that Massa is not living up to the Ferrari standard of drivers, but it's a case of dementia to argue that Massa didn't beat Kimi in 2008 and 2009.

Kimi won a championship under the same circumstances that Massa lost his, to think any differently is to fool yourself.

I also think that since Nando's been there its been a big fat nada...zero, zilch.

Ferrari have won only one WDC in recent times, and not by the guy they based their team around, but by a guy they pushed out, just like Mclaren

Ferrari put their faith in Nando, backed by a subservient Massa and found that its no longer like the old MS days of testing and FIA and special tyres where 1 man and his dog can triumph

The only question is will they change, in which case Massa has to be shipped out pronto (or encouraged to challenge Nando :yikes: ) and replaced by a driver that can/will challenge El Nando. And there is only Kimi available

I'm slightly warming to the idea of Ferrari removing Massa and Alonso and having entirely new line up for 14/15 and o reckon that might actually happen.

It's lots of fun speculating about driver line-ups. The surest thing for SF would be that Massa will go.

Of the possibilities to replace him, I's say Kimi would be the best short term solution to having 2 competitive drivers that can both score god points and wins.

Bianchi is the best long-term solution IMO but would be better served in a mid-ranked car for a season or two more.

I don't think Button would be a god choice - his comments on not accepting team orders until he's mathematically out of contention just doesn't sit with Ferrari's ethos.

I am liking Hulk or Resta in seat #2 also

My choices as team mate to Alonzo
1-Kimi
2-DiResta
3-Biachi
4-Hulk
5-Kobe
