Vlad is done with this forum and is happy where he is last time I heard from him. Our loss.

I wouldn't take it so hard, it's the nature of the internet in general and forums specifically, people come and go, sometimes inexplicably or for reason only they fully understand, nothing is really lost or gained, simply rearranged.

Though this isn't Spa I found this

The contentious Turn 10 chicane at the Marina Bay Street Circuit has been replaced with a flowing left-hand corner this season, according to the F1 Racing magazine.

Dubbed the 'Singapore Sling', the section has consistently raised concerns since the circuit joined the calendar in 2008, with various drivers being launched into the air.

In addition, minor resurfacing is going ahead between Turns 1-3, 5-8 and along Esplanade Drive in a bid to reduce the bumps experienced in previous seasons.

The Singapore Grand Prix takes place on the weekend of September 20-22.

That's a good move. I remember Raikkonen and Kobayashi wrecking their cars there in previous years, and I'm sure there must have been many others.

Don't agree, it presented a challenge to the drivers and just because a couple of them couldn't handle it doesn't mean it had to be changed. That section where cars hop about on track gave it it's own character...now that's gone it further cheapens the cheap gimmick of a night track even more.

They will be running round the tracks on rails next.

Lets take All the excitement out of racing.

Don't hit the kerb and No Problem. Down to the driver as said above. If there was a wall there they Would avoid it.

C'mon, F1 use to be edge of the seat, thrilling and very exciting.

Soon it will be like a merry go round.

Eh hum

The FIA has confirmed that two DRS zones will be in place for the forthcoming Belgian Grand Prix, continuing a pattern that has been set for much of the 2013 campaign.

The first zone, retained from previous visits to the venue, is situated on the run down to Eau Rouge, with the activation point coming at the start of the Kemmel Straight.

Unlike last year, drivers will have already had the chance to close in on their rivals prior to this, with the second zone located along the start/finish straight, following a detection point just before the Bus Stop chicane.

I knew this would happen,la di da,let me pass down the pit straight, damn he passed me,lets nail down the kemmel straight, and again. :irked:

The first zone description doesnt make any sense.

The Kemmel straight is AFTER Eau Rouge, let the zone is BEFORE Eau Rouge according to that :hehe:

Guessing its between Kemmel and Les Combes, since Eau Rouge isnt a passing area.

I was thinking that myself, it was a brilliant pass. I seem to remember a couple of others there too .... Lewis, and maybe Alonso too. :coffee:
