Awesome result for Robert I was very happy for him but the same cannot be said for Felipe. When he spun off I said to myself "there you go Felipe, another mistake that make's me think you will never win a WDC"!

Concerning the so called 'puff of smoke' from his brake's that is wrong imo. He was 1/4 -1/2 way through the corner when the rearend lost it's grip so my impression is he was "too happy with his right foot"! If Felipe continue's on the path he has been on since '07 I agree with you EwmanM that Felipe will be let go at the end of the season.

Best thing about the race? I actually recorded it, the first one in 10yr's :D !

Speaking of 09, did you hear James Allen today, talking about 2009? "Oh we'll have to wait and see" etc.

He may not be commentating next year :S

what actually are the new rules? i know they were talking about a split rear wing at 1 point

I think basically, tyre blankets are banned, erm SLICKS are back :D

They have tht KERS, energy recovery implemented

on the Aero side, i think its just the f1 cars like thye are atm, but with no stupid winglets, chimney's, front wing endlplates, all the things tht create tht negative drag..

Hopefully pre 01 style... only cars will be alot safer etc

oh yeah i knew about KERS and slicks and tyre Blankets didnt know much aout aero, thanks :)

I think 09 will see the return of renault.
Pat Symond is one of the heads of the group designin the aero rules for next year, so he'll be in the know... hopefully

Yeah man I totally agree, personally I have never rated Massa highly enough believe he could ever be world champion.
09 will see either Vettel or Alonso alongside Kimi... or maybe both, if Kimi decides to quit...

Mind you, you never know with Alonso.

Luca has previously and basically said that there will never be a seat for Alonso at Ferrari, I hope this is true BUT this is F1  . As I had previously mentioned last week the SPEEDTV commentator's, possibly Bob Varsha, made a comment that Ferrari are very keen on Vettel and are watching him very closely, possibly to replace Massa? :P

Something makes me think they won't sign him, Red Bull will have him underwraps.
It wouldn't surprise me if Alonso went to Ferrari, I mean it wasn't expected Mansell would rejoin Williams in 1991 lol :P

I dunno, Ferrari may go backwards... I know that's pretty controversal for me to say, but I don't see Kimi lasting too long... and i mean if he decided to call it today ( in his usual cool way) i shudder to think what would happen to them if they made Massa No1... So Vettel is a gd bet, but also Rosberg?

Also you no, Luca came out with praise for Alonso at the end of last season... maybe that was mind games with Mclaren, but I think it was more Todt against Alonso... now he's gone :D...

BMW-Sauber also seems to have a stake with SV, some contract thing. Could become a problem that SV is his own manager, no hired gun at his side...

Also, I just read James Allen's verdict to todays's GP. He claims that its KIMI V LEWIS for the title...
However in the background... picking away, Hekki's been picking away at things, getting results... he probs wnt last the full year, but you know.

two podium finishes for kovi is a good solid start. I can't see anybody but lewis or kimi because kovi isn't good enough yet and massa is an accident waiting to happen

Congrats to FIAt. Kimi blew everyone away and the team had all aspects of his stratagy on the button. Did anyone see even the slightest mistake (on the track or in the pits)? Faultless.
The Mac lads appeared to do some strange stuff though. Hamilton's choice of tyres seemed off the wall considering his pace in the final stint. His pit stops looked shakey even if they had got the spinner off properly. Kovi ground out a decent podium though.
If Massa does have another stink race and begins to move towards the exit I would not be surprised to see Kovi talking to the boys in red.
For this race Tifosi Victor.

I think Ferrari has the best car of the grill. McLaren's car is very good, similar to Ferrari, but I think that nowadays the italian is best.

Raikkonen is a monster. In spite of he has win at the middle of the race he continues doing fast laps and risking in each curve. Hamilton has had a strong bone (Webber) and bad luck in box, however, he has showed his pottential.

Alonso, with a "small" car has done a very good race. He has been very regular and tried to risk a lot
