- 20 Aug 13, 09:49#370197Yesterday I went karting and beat everybody in terms of laptime apart from the instructor(that sorts,manages karts and works there)who beat me by 0.2,but I had an epic tussle with others through,I came out of the pits behind somebody and was hooked to his rear all the time,a slow guys ahead deicides interupt our duel,we enter the tight left right as the guy I'm dueling with decides to take the inside,the backmarker runs wide and hold inside for the right,the fast guy is on the outside and forced wide,I'm on the left setting up an undercut,I undercut the fast guy and get alongside the slow guy into the last turn(right hander)and onto the main staight with me on the inside with my front wheel alongside his seat,he moves across just before turn 1 so I have to jam on the brakes to avoid taking out the barriers and him,the fast guy sails down the outside as a result,but the slow guy runs wide ahead,so we both get past,but I still have the fast guy ahead,(he was only 0.8 slower in the end)until the end of session,I dropped back for 2 laps to set a quick time then hook onto his tail,until we're told to come in,it was a great tussle but I couldn't find a way round him,my tummy couldn't take the strain I had after that as it was abit bumpy throughout,so I felt sick for like an hour,til I had a shower to clean up(those overalls make you sweat and smell bad).
I also had my retainers fitted today too.
