...I might be wrong but I don't remember anything that severe said by LCdM... I remember quite a few complimentary comments from the team on Kimi. I always felt the "bad blood" was more in the media's eyes than it was based in reality.
You're right Spanky!! I always thought it was a very strange situation. So "hush hush" and unexpected
that Ferrari would drop Kimi who was their last WDC in favour of Massa who didn't seem to have come
back fully from his accident. Much as I commend Ferrari's loyalty and support of Massa, I'm not sure
that was the "best" decision, in retrospect.
Now, I see operaman has a personal source who seems to confirm my own suspicions:
...the original plan at Ferrari was for an Alonso/Kimi super-team. According to her sources, this was altered out of loyalty to Massa following his terrible accident...
Who knows how this whole situation will be played out!!
