Its interesting how some fans seem to adopt certain traits of the driver they support. Like some dogs and their owners

So you have a story that is fiction and is an entry for a competition, and in it Seb does not win his 4th WDC in a row.

And his supporters are upset enough to kick up a fuss that Seb was beaten in a fictional tale on his 4th attempt (he still has 3 titles in the fiction story)

too funny, reminds me of Seb 'do something, get him out of the way' and 'fastest lap, I must have ze fastest lap'

Too funny, you have clearly not read anything past probably the first word.
Who even talks about winning or not winning? At least have the decency to know what you're talking about if you're going to bud in.

ze fastest lap, we must have ze last word, we must have all ze statistics, even in ze fiction ve must vin

Again, you're talking bullpoo. Are you mentally ill or something that you see things that are not there, yet keep insisting they are?
Who here has complained about the piece because Vettel didn't win? Tell me, who in your fantasy, has?

Nice one Hamms, says it all

Its ironic that someone complaining about a bit of fiction is willing to be particular about which aspect of the whole fiction is 'correct' or not

Its like a story that says a space ship abducted all the F1 drivers one day and a Vettel fan is complaining that Vettels age is 26 and not 28 in the story :rofl::rofl:

way too funny

You are pathetic, utterly pathetic
Making false claims and not having the balls to even admit to that. Can't even own up to your own behavior.
Grow a pair man, this is just pathetic.

I think RC should seriously consider including this quote on any entries

All characters appearing in this work are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.

Otherwise ze Seb fans might claim ze libel

or even worse bore us silly with their nitpicking

Dude, seriously? Are you so utterly sad that you just keep acting like nothing has happened? You are to sad to own up to your own pathetic behavior?
It's very simple "I was wrong in accusing people of things that they did not do". Grow a pair.

Regardless of what was in the author's mind, the tone of the article is very clear: Lewis and Webber are the heroes, Vettel is the crying antagonist who is put in his place by heroic winner Webber, who finally got his deserved revenge. Don't pull this politically correct "you don't know what the author was thinking" BS on us. I hope you don't take the forummers for fools as that comment implies.

A word from me. In this competition, as it states in the rules, you can enter an article of any type, something that could go in any of the threads we have on the forum. mnmracer, you might consider entering one of your excellent statistical articles..... It would be clear from the context of the article that it were factual.
Poetry may entered(and has been) . You may enter a race report, you may write a story, you may enter a life experience. Write a technical article. The sky is the limit. I think it is clear from the entry under discussion that it is fiction as the race in Question hasn't yet happened.
