Would Webber really want to leave F1 having ignored 4 team-orders to 1 of Vettel?

I really don't think he'd give a damn.

Id have to agree.

Some people need to let go. This bit of writing was a nice little fiction piece that some people (and by 'some people', I mean 'some Vettel fans') seem to have taken all too seriously...

Considering the premise seems to be 'poor Webber', that 'poor' part deserves some context ;-)

It doesnt need any context. Its a fictional piece of writing. Its not real, and has no basis. Its a bit of fun.

Doesn't seem like you're able to let go ;-)
Have some fun!

I just think the PR story Mark Webber has made of himself of being this poor bullied kid in the playground is kind of old, both in the real and the fictional world.

I think the fans of The Mouth need to let it go. It seems the victim role with the giant chip on the shoulder that The Mouth plays so well has passed onto his supporters/Vettel detractors. Maybe if he'd drive faster and better he'd be the top boy at Red Bull. It's not as if he's had the opportunity! The bit of writing that you call a "nice little fiction piece" was clearly written with one purpose in mind, at which it seems to have succeeded!

And Jenson Button as Jenson Button. And Sebastien Vettel and Sebastien Vettel.

I'll stop referring to Mark Webber as The Mouth when other drivers are not handed nicknames by other members. How is it any different to referring to Button as the Duck or Vettel and Justin Bieber? I'm not alone in giving drivers a nickname though yet again I am singled out.

You're not that special. I've given the same curtsey of a PM to other members that forget about the guidelines.

And I can attest to that. You have no spotlight on you no matter how hard you try to have one andrew, so give it up.

You have no idea what was in the author's mind when that article was written! Perhaps you'd like to enter an article of your own rather than take a pop at people who have bothered.

Regardless of what was in the author's mind, the tone of the article is very clear: Lewis and Webber are the heroes, Vettel is the crying antagonist who is put in his place by heroic winner Webber, who finally got his deserved revenge. Don't pull this politically correct "you don't know what the author was thinking" BS on us. I hope you don't take the forummers for fools as that comment implies.
