Today I officially became a benefits scrounger. It was a horrifying moment. The last time I was that scared for my own personal safety was when I was in the gulf. In the Job Center to move from desk to desk you have to be escorted by a security guard. I had the little one with me, I dropped her bottle on the floor so I got up to pick it up. When I looked around 2 security guards had closed in on me. It saddens me that this nation that I spent almost 2 decades defending is in such a terrible state that. People doing their job trying to help people to find work have to be protected in such a way. When the revolution comes and I am in power anyone who trys getting abusive with these workers will be removed from the benifit system. It is disgusting!

Sounds like a rough part of town! I never experienced that when I had to visit the Jobcentre. Once you get past the shell suits and Staffy's outside it was ok.

It's not really scrounging if you've been paying National Insurance. It's more a case of getting some of your state pension early.

Indeed, heading to KFC to grab a few meals tonight with my girlfriend, and friends...

Is the KFC in the UK OK? :D

Felt nauseous all day, just been resting, I am too scared to vomit as i really dislike it, any tips?:(

I also hate vomiting and avoid it at all costs. If you can get hold of Kaolin and morphine that's good, but I don't think they sell it over the counter these days. Failing that any minty chalky preperation will help.

Vomit it out instead of suppressing it inside with pills and more complication.

And vomiting is scary?...I take it you guys were never alcoholics in life. :hehe:

I'd have to agree with Hammer ( ).

If your body is needing you to be sick, it obviously needs you to be sick for a reason. Trying to keep it down isn't the wisest move.

I agree that vomiting isn't nice, but it's not exactly water torture. As an adult, it's something you need to just get on with.

No! NO! It's awful, avoid until unavoidable! Touch wood, I've not been sick for years and years. Shouldn't have said that should I. :hehe:

I'm like RC, I seem to be totally afraid of vomiting when feeling ill. And I do anything I can to prevent it. (I'd much rather it came out the other end)

Better out than in. Your body is rejecting it for some reason. Best not keep it in so it gets absorbed.

Last time I was sick I ended up in hospital
