Brawn reckons Lewis is just finding his feet at Mercedes. There's more to come.

The sky could be the limit! :P:P

I think given a similar package to MS at Ferrari, Lewis can take it all to a new level. And he has Vettel as a rival which will make it even more legendary.

I think many forget what could be round the corner with 2014 at Merc

One step at a time please. Mercedes have one dominant race under their belt with Hamilton to date. :hehe:

For sure 8-)

However fortune favours those who are ahead of the curve not those who catch up

Anyway you are right, its just one race where its all come together

However 2014 is the main course, this year was supposed to be a write off, a transition, a learning curve. The reasoning in the move by Lewis according to the experts is the package and new order in 2014.

Therefore if he is producing a dominant race in 2013 then we need to remember the big picture

If its all part of a masterplan, Ross Brawn style , then showtime is yet to come

Yeah but what fun is winning when you've got the best car? Personally speaking, I'd hate to see a Mercedes lead repeat of 2011. No one goes to see an Indiana Jones move where everything goes right as planned for Indie, it's fun to see him struggle and make it up as he goes along.

He has done his penance, with Lewis it will be the style with which he dominates. We can see this already, his pole to win races are more exciting than Sebs

I want Seb ( as I think he is the only one for the next decade so far) to give him a proper rivalry

But as we have seen F1 aint a proper sport, its who gets the best package around him to be able to use the talent. Mercs package will make RBRs look like a garagista outfit once Daimler start to see tangible benefits, like Mercedes car suddenly become the hip and cool car for every youngster (not just their executive fathers). But its not just the mass market

Its all about the bigger picture. Ferrari have ripped the arse out of F1 as far as marketing. Mercedes are actually the true and original Grand Prix grandees and dominate other motorsports. Now Merc are selling 200k sportscars (the most profitable space) they need an advantage over Ferrari. Something McLaren havent worked out yet.

Mercedes Silver arrows, AMG etc is all about business. And if we gonna have domination on track, Lewis is your man.

There is no way RBR or any one else will be able to match Merc if they get into that top space

As Cookin stated, Lewis has had more than his fair share of bad luck to last him his career....thanks to McLaren giving him his Championship and getting him into the sport, but to achieve greatness he had to leave. And I think everyone realized now that Lewis has made the move of his life, and fantastic timing too.

A nice read by Andrew Benson on why Hamilton could easily be a title contender

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/23529385

It was liked and retweeted by the Merc team :D

This part is interesting, especially if Merc qualify 1 and 2 a few times and Seb has to deal with other drivers such as a certain Mark Webber, Grosjean and Massa

Could be some fireworks behind the front row

As has been proved time and again, vulnerabilities show, both in his driving and in his mentality, when Vettel has to fight in the pack - as they did in Hungary, when he damaged his front wing on Jenson Button's McLaren and finished third when he might have challenged Hamilton for the win.
Vettel's typical victory modus operandi is to qualify at the front, blast off into the distance and then protect his lead. But given Mercedes's form - one of their drivers has been on pole for seven of the last eight grands prix - he can no longer count on doing that.

Lewis and Nicole are meeting to see if there's any chance they can still make it work. Both miss each other like crazy.
