Lewis fan girls and boys don't need to swoon over tongue skills. We swoon over driving skills.

Nice one RC, less talkey more drivey is what Lewis fans are all about. Those JB fans need to get over the fact that the sport is about racing not talking.

maybe you should follow what your idle does and do less talking.

Less talking, more dog walking. :hehe:

This forum would be pretty quiet though. I know the bashing has been bad, but it's gotten much better. I agree, that given the fact that last years arguments have pretty much settled themselves on the track this year it would lessen the need to rehash the same ol'.

Imagine the posts had McLaren been competitive this year? I think we've at least settled on the second best option.

Funny I see a lot of talking about pets, music and dancing by Lewis' fans... Can't say that about anyone else in F1.

Lewis fans that focused just on driving would be a breath of fresh air.

I'm confused. So you're saying it's not beating up on Jenson that gets you upset, but the way Lewis fans post pictures of his dog and his girlfriend?

We talked a lot of crap over the winter break, but one side's crap turned into an exceedingly large pile of crap, while the other side's "cautious optimism" crap has turned into a success that's far exceeded anyone's expectations.

It's okay to say you were wrong bud, no shame in that, there are a number of bewildered F1 pundits out there that have expressed the same about the turn around at Mercedes. Who knows, maybe Lewis' input was more important to them than it was to Mclaren. We'll never know. It's just silly to be all sour grapes about it.

I agree, the beating up can get tedious at times, but we're trying to keep it in check, and like I noted it's been better.

Maybe you should invite me to a race track and give me a go kart....and stand in the middle of the track to make things a little more exciting. I promise to keep my mouth shut.

My relatives went Karting last sunday, and brought back a 2nd place trophy. Need to show you guys it soon. Altogether he has achieved 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place. End of the month is his last race, hope he brings another trophy home!

Its interesting how some drivers like high octane spare time sporting hobbies. Like Kimi likes rallying (very fast), lewis likes powerboating and base jumping (very fast)

Button likes cycling and marathons (not even faster than a bus)

Hmmn, cycling and motoracing, not the most compatible of alpha male interests somehow

Yeah, the Tour de France and other such cycling contests are childs-play.

It is more like teen's play, just juice yourself up with a cocktail of drugs and you're ready to go.

The biggest risk or danger for these cyclists/hepthalon guys (apart from roid rage) is wearing a leotard thats too tight

Its hardly overtaking at 200 mph

Each to their own I guess :hehe:

Ask Mark Webber what happens when you fall off your bike.

Actually I full respect for the Tour de France guys. The speed they do the descents is amazing, and they're all packed together, and no protection if the come off.
