The Sepang circuit is nearly 10 years old and they have gone out and resurfaced the track due to a few tiny bumps so it's nice and smooth. There's too much of a trend these days for smooth tracks and it's not really that great if you ask me, I for one like seeing cars bounce and bobble along as they ride over bumps. Also the smooth tracks with new tarmac make the cars look like they're driving on oil slicks.

Considering they only have four sets of tyres then i can see why they want smooth tracks. Any unnecessary bumps is going to cause faster tyre wear so i say yes to smooth tracks

There should be variety.All tracks should not be super smooth,some should be a little more challenging than the usual.

Then design challenging tracks don't allow the track to get torn up and make unnecessary problems for drivers
