Mercedes didn't even get to test the new tires for Hungary and look how well they did. Testing is overrated. :wink:

Well, in the case of the YDT, I'd have to agree! In fact, I'm beginning to see that "allowing" the teams to test the Pirelli's was little more than a publicity stunt to appease those that didn't have the opportunity to have a "private" 1000km test session... with their current drivers!!

Oh, wait... most of the current grid (read those who are in contention for the WDC) didn't even bother attending, once they were told how very limited they'd be in testing anything!
