NJ will take place, because Tamara said so. She's already made dinner plans with Paris and Kim and she's not going to alter them.

Hahahah

Well,I am against the idea of 2 GPs in one country from the beginning. However I really wonder what would a street race in NJ would look like.I actually liked the race in Austin last year but NJ seems more interesting tbh, just by the atmosphere though,I'm not really fond of street races if we are looking at the basis of excitement

Just a thought, we do have to take into consideration the fact that the U.S. of A. is larger than all of Europe put
together and that there is a higher concentration of people in the two locations in question, at the moment!

I'd love to see NJ at least once. Who knows about the actual race, but it would be awesome to introduce F1 to even more USers, and the back drop of Manhattan would be amazing. Maybe if the GP in Austin continues to attract excitement we could see the NJ race too. Hell, Spain had two GP last year, why can't the US?

That's not an arguement. Why not Britain? Why not France? Why not Germany? Why not Italy? They all have drivers and/ or teams competing and a huge history and support base for F1 .
I'm not saying NJ shouldn't get a race, but using the Spain argument doesn't wash.

The US is much larger than the others you've listed. The total area of the USA is 9,826,675 km squared vs Europe's 10,180,000 according to Wikipedia; there are seven races in Europe at present, and one in the US. Given the size and population of the US, it's a massive target market and if Spain (at just over 5% the size of the US) can have two grands prix, then the US can definitely have two.

I have to agree with Denthúl on this one. I could easily travel to half a dozen F1 races if I wanted. People like WB, Geetface and MOA dont have this luxury and certainly wouldn't if we keep it at one US race.

If another country want's another GP, then it has to be at the new track in Wales. European Grand Prix at Wales would be beastly.

The sponsors the sport covets are American, the demographics, the fact that the country is untaped, the fact that they'd love to get an American driver, an American team, all reasons why the US can support two GPs and certainly support them in a much better fashion than 1/4 of the circuits currently on the calendar. All nicely wrapped into a circuit with a 200 foot elevation change.

Coupled with the fact the here's the view from the grandstands...

Suppose it's back to is it a sport, is it a business? Bernie's philosophy seems to be taking hold.

EVERYTHING is a business, to some extent!! From little league ball to the Olympics,
from high school intra-mural sports to the Pros... it's all a business!!
