Nice clip. Let me be more clear...I wouldn't look into evading taxes completely. I just don't see why I need to pay a hell of a lot more than the next guy who's getting an average middle class salary. I'd be paying more sure, but the step up in contributions in almost any developed economy are just crazy in my view.

You keep missing the point! :hehe:
In a proper tax structure, there would be no need to evade taxes because the wealthy and large corporations would be paying their fair share of taxes and relieving the burden on those making 75k a year household income and allowing for better care for those living below the poverty line.

I get what you're saying...though what I am trying to put across is that I kind of 'get' why the rich try and evade taxes. Although the system is put in place for a perfect world for all, when you're in that 'group' of richness (I don't know how that feels like yet :hehe:) I predict for myself that I'd find ways to justify tax evasion. I guess it's just greed in the end...but if we're talking about 'mercantilism' there'll always be an opposition...with riots to boot.

If the government wanted to, they could put a stop to it. At the end of the day what all these people/ businesses are doing is LEGAL, all top businessmen do things that are legal but not always moral, but thats business and why they are successful!

I think you have to have the opportunity to be successful in the first place. So you have to be lucky enough to have an education, have a means to pay for that education and be at the right place at the right time with the right idea. The likelihood of someone born to a lower class order or worse, born poor in a 3rd world country of becoming successful is nill to none. You're also overlooking the fact that the reason the government doesn't put a stop to it is that politicians need to be elected, and who do you think funds their campaigns?

They're successful because the rules are tailor made for them to be able to have that success. I don't have the same profitability capacity to hide money from the government by creating a shell company in the Cayman Islands do I?
