Oh damn...he escapes penalty even though car doesn't comply with regs.

I was hoping for Rosberg to be 3rd and challenge Vettel...crud.

ESPN server is busy so I can't get in to read the breaking news, but he better be starting from the back of the grid! Okay, so damage to the tea tray caused the deflection so "they're all good" Grosjean's been given a second chance at a victory tomorrow.

Looks like Lotus have figured out the newest loophole... damage that mysteriously helps the car go faster. The influence of Flavio is still strong in the team.

I'm suprised you didnt use the conspiricy that, had Grosjean been relegated to last - Alonso would have been put onto the dirty side of the grid!

Honestly, I don't think Grosjean gained an advantage, the gap between him and Kimi was constant and if it was because he hit a kerb then I think common sense should be (and has) been used!

Good decision (And not because i'd rather Alonso start P5 than P4, of course :hehe: )

Again the Mercs are fast in Q but Lewis himself said his chances of a win are unlikely because of the bad tyre degredation at the Mercedes, an extra stop is likely to hurt them tomorrow.

Even as a Jenson fan, I was disappointed with him today, starting 13th when his team mate starts ninth, his comment about understeer costing him annoyed me, time to man up Jenson and say "I just wasn't fast enough", the excuses are getting tiring, it's always, no grip or oversteer, or understeer... time to look elsewhere to make a living?

Jenson lost many many of the fans he had when he first started out for exactly the same reasons. He had a second chance in 2009 to be seen as a driver who has balls and, fights on track and admits when he is beaten, (like Lewis). But he hasnt done this and has been elevated by the media and irritates us by insulting our intelligence. When the car is perfect he can drive well, when its not he is lazy and deceitful, and will never say 'I wasnt fast enough' and that means the team are obliged to 'fix the problem'

Jenson just made the quote of the year as far as I'm concerned.... :hehe:

Team-mate Jenson Button could only manage 13th place on the grid but is confident he will be more competitive in Sunday's race.

"When we run fresh rubber, I can't get enough front-end in the car - we're maxed out - so I'm struggling. In a way, that's a positive - because it means we've introduced downforce to the rear of the car. And hopefully that situation will change for the race, when you can play around with things in the cockpit a little more, and there's generally less rear grip for everyone.

I was hugely pleased for little Checko. After getting a brilliant 3rd fastest in 3rd practise he smashed his car on turn eleven with just two minutes to go. After a rebuild left him struggling for set up he hauled it into q3. Gutsy driver!
