Thanks, it's a small family business, mostly repairs to stone buildings. Started today and it was dressing some stone cornicing, nothing fancy. Don't know if it was the physical work but by the end of today the cold was pretty much gone, only lasted a couple of days.

I've not actually finished there yet, still to tell them and don't know if i'll have to work any notice so it's yet to kick in that I won't be doing that any more.

A quick way to immediately get out of the existing job is to tell them you got a job giving away boilers for the competition.

Taking a plain squared block of stone and cutting something like this from it.

Congratulations on getting a job again doing what you love.

It's a heavy dirty dusty sometimes freezing or wet job but can be so relaxed and the results are worth it.

Yesterday I spent most of the day cleaning windows inside and out. There's lots of windows. I was pleased with my efforts, until I looked this morning with the sun shinning on them well they'll just have to stay like that now.

I have been playing around with various ROMs on my Samsung Galaxy S4 and have come to the conclusion that AOSP based ROMs have an inherent flaw with Wi-Fi connectivity!

I walked and biked in the sun for 2 to 3 hours then went to a dinner party.

All in a day's work. Mind you it was the weekend.

I went for a walk,it had been raining on and off since the afternoon with sunny spells inbetween,Left 30mins ago,started drizzling after 5mins,saw a very large dark pregnant cloud about to burst,turned round,by the time I got home,it was actual rain,and now it's a storm with thunder and very heavy rain.A lucky escape.
