It's the bit of Alonso I don't like. I've mellowed, since Lewis isn't on the receiving end, but c'mon Alonso! You're good! You don't need to revert to the crap like some drivers do!!! get in there and drive!!!

I think at various points, all the top drivers have requested their team mate move over, Kimi Vettel (well, ) and Lewis, or the team have requested it at least.

I think it's a sign of confidence, it's saying, I don't have time for this, I've got other things to worry about.

If a team designed a system that followed on from an old Mclaren idea that they had on say the MP4/12 (nope not the C but it also had a similar system.) Where the driver could brake one wheel independently to help it turn into right hand corners, which was banned because you are only allowed one brake pedal and not allowed to mess or modulate the brakes. However if say a team found a way to harvest KERS slighly through one wheel than the other. If that wheel happened to lock up while harvesting could/would we see similar accidents that might be happening to Massa?

This speculation make sense to me and I can see an Alonso/Bianchi pairing next year is possible.

Ferrari admits 2013 'key year' for Bianchi

Jules Bianchi has emerged as a real contender to replace Ferrari's Felipe Massa in 2014.

In the wake of Brazilian Massa's flow of crashes and spins dating back the Monaco grand prix almost two months ago, bosses Luca di Montezemolo and Stefano Domenicali have publicly backed the beleaguered 32-year-old.

But at the very same time, reports are gathering steam that the cream of Ferrari's driver development 'academy' - Frenchman Bianchi - is in the running to take Massa's place alongside Fernando Alonso next year.

Alluding to the opportunity, the current Marussia driver told Ferrari's official website on Saturday: "Yes, it's always there and there's no point talking about it.

"Everyone can imagine exactly what it is!" the 23-year-old added.

Undoubtedly, Bianchi is referring to the dream of a Ferrari race seat, and even the famous Italian team's 'academy' chief Luca Baldisserri admitted 2013 is about Bianchi staking his claim in F1.

"It was very important for Jules to have finally reached the highest level of motor sport," he said.

"This is a key year for him. He has to gain experience and grow as a driver in what is a very competitive environment, learning to manage stress and always stay focused."

Livio Oricchio, the correspondent for Brazil's O Estado de S.Paulo newspaper, said the most influential Italian publications - La Gazzetta dello Sport and Autosprint - have put on record their desire for a driver change at Ferrari.

Oricchio said it is therefore "likely" Massa's manager Nicolas Todt has opened talks with teams like Lotus and Force India about 2014.

I think it is relevant. If they are on different strats and Lewis wants to get past, he should just overtake. But he couldnt, so he asked the team to get him out of the way. I dont remember Vaptin saying "all the top drivers have requested their team mate move over, when on the same strategy"

And lewis has done this. In germany. he didnt have time to mess about getting past Rosberg. Regardless of tyre strategy. So he asked them to get him out the way.

I can understand why some people on here call us Hamilton fans Fanboys, when you guys consistently paint him as some sort of demi-god. Vaptin wasnt being negative about Hamilton, but you guys hit back with. "No. no, Hamilton hasnt done that - he is the best fastest most greatest driver ever, so doesnt need the teams help" (yes, Im paraphrasing)

No, I know Vaptin wasn't being negative about Hamilton, and if included in the 'ask team mate to move over' is, ' Ask team mate to get out the way, we're not racing each other' then yes Hamilton has done that. But the discussion followed on from talking about Alonso's tactics with team mates, where he has asked team mates to be moved when they're racing on the same strategy. That's what Lewis has never done. He's no Demi god, but he doesn't screw over his team mates.
