Just did the structural inspection on a duplex. Looks pretty good, some plumbing/asbestos pipes need a bit TLC, but the two units are move-in ready and I'm going for it.

Nah, the last one I mentioned had too many structural problems, so I cancelled the contract. This one though is owner-occupied and in good general shape, plus it's a steal price-wise.

8pm marks the end of a 64 hour week for me, complete with a bout of man-flu and at times being a one-man band during what has been by far the hottest week of the year so far.

Of course In a large city like London, it's not just the temperature from the weather, there's the mugginess of being in a very polluted and croweded city. I can't imagine being able to do my job for any length of time in temperatures like that.

You think thats bad? I had to spend all of yesterday at an outdoor wedding, in the baking sun drinking champagne, wine, cider, limoncello and eating BBQ.

It was hell.
