I had a brill weekend thanks! I was distraught on lap 8 but ecstatic at the end by his stunning recovery. And the sun was out

I think I got too much sun

Stonemonkey and RC, you guys had a great GP for 2013... I don't know if you got to walk the circuit post race but I would have kept my eyes peeled for some tire shreds... this was one of those races that you'll be able to say remember Silverstone that year when all the tires were blowing up. Well here's one of those shreds.

A piece of history!

Went for a beer instead then met up by the stage for the interviews.

I got bits of tyre that time I was lying on the track....2011 I think. But then I lost them this year wanted a goosd place by the stage, so went straight there. Would have been good though to get a bit of exploded Lewis tyre

Yes, we could have BBQ' s, and all for the sum off £15 per person per night and only a field away from Copse corner but I have to say your camping looks a little more civilised than ours was.

I missed pictures of the drivers parade. I had two options get the camera set up zoomed right in to Lewis. Or wave jump around frantically waving the Hamilton banner in the vain hope he'd notice. I went for the latter option, hence no pics. But it was worth it because he noticed and I got a thumb up

.... but I have to say your camping looks a little more civilised than ours was.

The food probably wasn't, not that I'm complaining, it was burgers and steaks but shame we couldn't BBQ.
