Brill driver! I love Nico! I agree that through his childhood and teens things came easy because of his dad, and maybe that did him no favours blunted the hunger. But I rate him highly, I think he has his eye on the big chance and is prepared to fight for it. I think Lewis is better and when he is completely happy in the Merc will pull ahead of Nico....if he doesn't full kudos to Nico! He's become a fighter and a fair one, and If Lewis wins out, I'll still have massive respect for Nico.

a better picture of Nico, the one in the OP makes it look like he hasn't been to a dentist since his karting days.

I have never had respect for Nico Rosberg. Until this year, when I could compare him with a relevant driver in Lewis Hamilton.

In qualifying it's Rosberg 3 - Hamilton 2.

In race wins it's Rosberg 2 - Hamilton 0.

And if it weren't for Rosberg's retirements and team orders at Malaysia he would probably be leading Hamilton in the championship as well. But I always believe that bad luck usually evens itself out, and I think Hamilton's tire failure at the last race more than compensates for Rosberg's bad luck.

Hamilton has been consistent, so he deserves to be leading Rosberg in the championship, but I honestly believe that Rosberg will beat Hamilton in the championship this year. Then perhaps the aura of Hamilton may subside a bit.... and I'm not saying that out of contempt for Hamilton, I just feel that Rosberg (and also Alonso, Vettel and Raikkonen) are better than him.

To lose to 2 team mates would greatly affect his legacy in F1, as legends like Prost and Senna never lost to their team mates.

Imagine, if Rosberg beats Hamilton in the championship this year, Rosberg would've beaten team mates who've had a combined total of 8 World Championships! In 4 consecutive seasons! That would be one statistic Vettel could never ever lay claim to...

Hate to be "that guy", but:

1980: Prost beaten by Watson
1984: Prost beaten by Lauda
1988: Prost beaten by Senna (in the championship; Prost had more points come end of season, though)
1989: Senna beaten by Prost

^^ I don't know if it didn't come out right when you wrote it, but it seems that your expectation of Hamilton is comparing him to Prost and Senna, that alone is high praise.

And Kimi was beaten by Massa and Alonso was beaten by Lewis. it goes on and on, but thanks for pointing out the irrational point of view some folks have for Lewis Hamilton, both pro and con.

 maybe you should do some research before you make assumptions, try make it hard for others to trash your theory

Prost lost to his teammates Watson in 80, Lauda in 84, and to Senna in 88
Senna lost to his teammate in 89

Hamilton beat 2 REIGNING World champion teammates (not champions in the twilight of their careers like MS)

For someone who only watches or takes interest in 'qualifying' I would've expected at least the bolded part to be accurate. I mean, we've had like 7 races man. Nevermind the rest of the rubbish in your post which is why I deleted it. :hehe:

My opinion.

Haha, now I have heard it all!

Your opinion are FACTS that are wrong, how does that work?

is it one of those alternate universe scenarios?

My opinion.

It is your opinion that we've only had 5 qualifying sessions so far?

EDITED, My apologies for accusing you to be high.

Rosberg needs to capitalise on whatever advantage he can get out of Lewis settling into the team because the statistics tell us that he has no problems with getting stronger during the year

Both reigning WDCs Alonso and Button were 2-0 wins up before Lewis got going to beat both
