If Jenson deserves a bashing then fair enough, as long as it's constructive, I wont defend his driving or part in McLaren's downfall, he is part of the problem, but not the problem.

My issue is with the little unnecessary digs, I realise that Lewis had the same during his 2011 season, which was hardly a highlight of his career, I didn't like people doing it then and I don't like it now, if you have something constructive to say instead of putting the boot in, then I will listen, accept your view and write a counter-argument if I have one, hence discussion!

You gotta give Martin some credit afterall, he was asked to catch up with the top teams. If all races can be boycotted for the rest of the season no one can say McLaren are moving backwards anymore in the table

I see McLaren team principal Martin Whitmarsh has said there is a "danger" of a boycott of the German Grand Prix this weekend. This is the sort of thing I'm talking about.
The best thing Whitmarsh can do is go and hide. Silverstone was another terrible race for McLaren and it's in their interests to get the rest of the season cancelled so they stop embarrassing themselves.
What is the point in saying that? It's ridiculous.

I said I wouldnt criticise Button until he did something new

just pointing out what the BBC's Gary Anderson, who was the biggest supporter of McLaren at the start of the year just said. For most people if you tell em 'theres a problem with mcLaren' they will not listen, insult you, gt upset etc etc

until the BBc or other media start saying it, then it becomes acceptable to them

I know which side of the 'status quo' fence you are on WB, and I also understand you need to keep the peace

Also the way McLaren has been run is what I am constantly berating, not the team itself. I have too many good memorie for that.

The sooner people start pointing out whats wrong the sooner the press, the sooner the stakeholders act in the interests of the public

the sooner Perez starts kicking arse

and no matter what happens, as long as they get Lewis back and give him a car and resources that have not been watered down for the sake of a disturbingly needy mouthpiece all will be good again

(and they need to somehow turn back the clock to Shanghai 2007 and call him in when he asked to pit for tyres)

Sam Michael insists McLaren ran within the camber and pressure limits set by Pirelli throughout the British GP.

McLaren suffered two blowouts on Sergio Perez's car during the course of the Silverstone weekend, firstly in final practice and then in Sunday's race on the Hangar Straight, but Michael says the team were working within Pirelli's guidelines.

"All I can say is on behalf of McLaren and McLaren have run the correct specification on all of our tyres as they ran at Silverstone on the car including the tyres that had failures," he told Sky Sports News.

"They ran with all the specified tyres pressures, they ran within all the specified camber limits so at no point did they run outside the limits set by Pirelli. So if there were some teams that were running outside the limits set, then it is up to Pirelli to enforce that and make sure all the teams do the same thing.

"So we would support Pirelli if they want to increase the amount of monitoring and control they have over that because it is very important in this business that you run the products in an area where they need to be safe. However, as I said on the McLaren car those were always run within specification."

What about the little matter of swapping the rear tyres? There is a picture of Perez' car with swapped tyres.

Pirelli say - the teams are swapping tyres, using non prescribed pressures and camber limits. These are not safe

SM, the future Mclaren boss says - our pressures and camber were ok, so lets say that to the press and ignore the swapping, maybe no one will notice, real clever us disturbing Mclaren boys!
