Rite, I was on bbc's 606 and heard these ridiculous ideas for F1 presenter...
Richard Hammond? Gary Linekar... even Nige (no disrespect nige but...)
I hpe the BBC dnt just off load someone onto the f1 coverage like they did with say 6nations or snooker or golf.
The BBC have a fantastic opportunity to promote f1... they can get JIM ROSENTHAL!
He is out of contract with ITV, he knows the ropes, was pretty gd, he must be the no1 choice?
As FOR BRUNDLE, how many awards has he won now? He must be top of the list? Kravitz too, he knows his stuff and he isn't bad at all. Infact I think him and Louise Goodman will both be signed along side Brundle...please no johnathan palmer
Will we see the return of Tony Jardine? Now that would be class.
Basically Ryder can't come, he locked in an itv contract seeing as he does football too... so there isn't much chance of him coming back.
The big thing is main commentator. I think James Allen will be signed up tbh, I don't think BBC will change the formula... but you never no, so i'll float some ideas about...
Charlie Cox? That wouldn't surprise me seeing as he did BTCC, but surely not... wt does he know bout f1... mind u he didnt no much about moto gp and he got the job
Ben Edwards? A fans fav for the role, got locked with sky and itv over btcc and a1gp... so maybe not?
John Watson? He like Edwards knows the ropes, and always pops up once in a while around f1.
Wat about five live's f1 team? Like David Croft, Holy Samos? Will they make the step up to BBC TV?
I was also thinking for a one off, the BBC should bring back Murray occasionally, such as for the British Grand Prix,
Anyone elses views?
