Just as it says...

This morning, about 2 hours before the race - told my wife I had a funny feeling that in spite of his normal bulletproof reliability Vettel wasn't going to finish the race.... weird...

In a kind of similar way, I was thinking about a possible Seb retirement when the first safety car came out. Why? Because of Valencia a few years back, when the team complained that the gearbox issue wouldn't have happened if the safety car hadn't put in an appearance.

It was very similar today...

The wife and I went to the local T-Mobile store and got two Samsung Galaxy S4's, we put $200 down plus paid the taxes for the total cost of the phone and will be paying the phone's off at $40 per month over 24 months for both phones and our contract also got cheaper, we now have unlimited calls and texts on both lines and 500MB of high-speed data included on each line, for $80 per month, which is $20 less than we were paying for 1000 shared minutes, unlimited texts and 200MB of high-speed data each. I wasn't going to get the S4, I was going to get something cheaper but the wife wanted the S4, so I wasn't going to settle for a lesser phone if she was getting a top of the line phone. Anyway, end result is that I am very happy, the phone is very good, big improvement over my three year old Samsung Exhibit 4G (the original one). I have warned the wife that is she drops and breaks this phone like she did her previous phones, I will be revoking her breathing privileges.

I actually saw the Tesla roadster a few weeks back, the one that looks like the Lotus Elise... it just seems weird only hearing road noise and no engine, I'd be constantly asking "Is it on?"

Their stock has been off the charts the past few months. As a growth stock it might be a great company to still get into, they're just getting started.

Did they complain about the safety car? It's clearly in the F1 regulations, and it's hardly an obscure event, the safety car may come out limiting speed etc. so it's their responsibility to build a car suitable for those conditions, or to take the flack if the car isn't suitable.

I certainly would. I'd spend far too much money though.

Ahh what the hell, you only live once. Let's make a plan. One day, me and thee will have a totally intellectual day out, perusing old volumes in antique book-shops, and then we'll get totally trashed with some fine wine.

Sounds great. What do you say?
