How far is this going to be pushed back too? I'll tell you when, next year. They need all the teams to accept it, and I doubt FI or Lotus will want to change them.

This is probably the best guess.

Next year would make the most sense in light of Mercedes test. No one can be seen to be potentially getting an unfair advantage seeing as everyone will have tested with the new tyres by the start of the season.

Not sure if anyone else raised this, but the tires have undergone a major change since the last race. Pirelli are in fact using a different glue and construction with it. They should go back to the previous version. Pirelli shouldn't have accepted or made changes if, as they said, the tires were safe before this change.

If they can't decide which GLUE is better to keep their tyres intact, Bridgestone or Michelin should be called up ASAP.

It's been noted. It's also been noted that Lotus was the primary team resisting the changes... Any changes.

Changed your mind yet on the "safety" issue Spanky?

Ross Brawn is right. Pirelli aren't even being given a chance to develop their tyres. BRING BACK MORE TESTING ASAP.

They should not need more testing, they should be trusted to deliver tyres that meet the FIA's rules.

And how do you do this without testing? A computer simulation only tells you so much but there is no substitute for actual on-track testing.

You wouldn't design a product and then sell it straight to the consumer without extensive testing would you?

Yeah but tyres is an exception, they were getting carried away with the sensitiveness.

They did try to bring back testing, but then the teams complained about the cost; so now they have a gentleman's agreement to not have any testing.

For the next season they should ban tires and make it so that the cars hover off the surface of the ground....

Make tyres out of chocolate. When they melt, go to the pits. Different types are... Dark Milk and White.
