I have been watching F1 now for at least 20 years or more, and have seen all the various and sundry changes to cars, teams, drivers and all things F1.

The one thing that has NOT changed, in fact has gotten worse IMHO, are the seemingly ENDLESS rules, bylaws, regulations, and in some cases bloody DAFT
requirements that the FIA puts in place to govern this sport. There are web sites that sound like they have been given Royal friggin Consent from the FIA JUST to
publish the days chin wags from the team drivers and owners. You would think the FIA is some kind of all powerful worldly "Wizard" that must be bowed down to
in order to appease their all mighty control over all things F1 no matter how puny and unimportant.

In all my days of watching sports of ALL kinds, especially motorsports, it boggles the mind how Bernie and his egomaniacal desire to control every minute sub particle of the sport has put F1 into a realm of undeniable excesses. It seems that nary a race goes by that some "new" regulation is put in place to further
disseminate the true sport of auto racing.

I wonder if drivers must get "written" permission from the FIA to take a dump on a non-practice day, between certain hours, when timing and scoring
are set to code the qualifying, and the tires are all neat in a row, and the previous driver has...GOOD GREIF...what a micro-manager's delight...! When are
we going to get back to some good 'ol fashioned RACING...? You know, where the driver has to "DRIVE" the gawdam car, and not worry about getting
too close to another car in case a steward has a hissy fit and goes tattle tailin to the FIA...oh whatever...rant over.

Who gives a rat's arse WHO writes the rules...? Rant button on again. Point is there are too many, and far too many dopey ones. Not to mention these technical pointy heads have done their
utmost to make F1 racing so mind numbingly orchestrated when it comes to finite rules and regs, that watching a race is sometimes akin to watching a traffic cam...!!! Rant over again.
