Rosberg fastest again. Battle between the Mercs for pole?

Nothing new....the interesting part is tomorrow. It is an established fact that the car is a beast over 1 lap. I want to see what their 'tyre testing' has done for them for tomorrow.

I have a feeling we might see Lewis take pole here or make a blunder and end up on the 2nd or 3rd row. It's his home race, and at the back of his mind he knows how quick Nico is over 1 lap.

Not to mention it's his woman's bday today.

The Mercs are still struggling with tires and this track is one of the extremes for them. The rears as usual looked bad but the right front was taking more of a beating than other cars were.

But their actual pace on the long runs has improved this weekend,I guess Merc are saving hard tyres for the race,they might use the same set of tyres as Q1 if their confident,Rosberg was quickest in S1,Hamilton destroyed S2 and 3

They're the only front runners using the softer compound in Q1 as well, saving the hards. Huge pace, but they already look exposed for the race.
