Vettel graciously responds by saying. "I've been perfect, but yeah those guys aren't as good a me"

Vettel - 'yeah I've been perfect like they say, but if that sucker Webber hadnt been around I'd have been even more perfect, er....hold on'

I don't like Vettel. I hate it when we hear his celebrations in the car at the end of the race. I throw my head at a hard object. :banghead:

You have issues...

The only problem with Vettel is that we need another challenger in a car as good as his. Then it will be exactly what we all need. 2 brilliant drivers competing in the same space.

Lewis in a sorted Merc vs Vettel in his Red Bull, and no one would complain about Vettel, theyd be too busy enjoying the racing

I think Hamilton and Alonso were especially vocal this time about how "Vettel is doing a great job" instead of the car at his disposal....I suspect Horner was about to find his next topic to whine about and maybe make a few lawsuits against these two since they were upsetting his golden boy.

We have another challenger in a car as good as his. They're just failing.
So what you're actually saying is, we need another challenger in a car better than the Red Bull.

Vettel has had only 1 teammate in a top car...which is Webber. Quick on his day, but nowhere near as consistent as guys like Hamilton, Kimi, and Alonso. So where is cookin saying that someone needs a car better than his?

Cookin is talking about another driver in as good a car (even gives the example of Lewis in a fixed up Merc).
Forgetting that there are as good a cars out there as the Red Bull.

So...you're saying the Mercedes/Ferrari is as good as the Redbull in terms of achieving the balance between qualifying/race pace?

Ferrari's good race pace is no more off-balance then Red Bull's good qualifying pace.

Vettel has the best car and has done since 2009

Other cars have had flashes of brilliance in certain conditions but one would have to be deaf dumb and blind to suggest that Mercedes have a car anywhere near RBR's

Under these current regs, aero makes all the difference and their car has more than anyone elses, therefore over any lap of any race circuit they can go faster round corners. Seb can take certain corners without lifting when no other car can do the same. Lewis said this shortly before he visited the RBR garage a couple years ago

Alonso and Lewis would have at least the same results in that car, Kimi and maybe even Rosberg also

Webber is a number 2 who is not consistent enough no matter what car you give him

If you had all drivers in that Red Bull I bet you Vettel would not be the fastest. Lewis is faster than him clearly.
