Drool away...Mercedes are going nowhere.

It's a huge "if" but if Lewis ever was signed by Ferrari Id love to see your first post apres that event

Well IF that happened, I'd be supporting everyone, even McLaren and Button to beat the Hamilton- Ferrari combo.

That day I want to see

I'd follow Lewis to the ends of the earth and reds quite a nice colour

I think red would suit Seb's blond curls better

Here's Lewis answering questions at the factory. Guest from some motoring organisation.

There was an article on Hamilton on the BBC website, and I came accros this comment that made me laugh.

But it is surely the case that in the past 3 races he isn't even the fastest person in his team. He was out qualified at Monaco. Another reason he is disliked by many, is he compared himself to Senna and let me tell you know, he isn't in the same league as a driver. He is the Beckham of formula one style/marketing over substance. And he refuses to be UK tax resident.what's not to detest.

Edit: I like the use of the word "detest" rather than hate.

Hmmmmmm does the guy who wrote that realise how many British racing drivers live/ lived in Monaco? Or other tax havens? Or other nationalities doing it for that matter. Open eyes sir!

I don't think any brit F1 drivers live here, I know Webber does, because he hates the glitz and fuss of Monaco and his wife refused to move; and Bottas because he "Hates commuting" and apparently likes Oxford.

Paul Di Resta still has a house in Scotland he stays in for a few months of the year too I think.

The thing about tax is that only those in the position of having to pay can understand it

I.e. those that pay no tax know the least, and few will have any understanding of the benefits of residing in Monaco

Those who know dont talk, those who talk dont know, simples

I'm thinking you're in the talk don't know camp? when it comes to taxes at least.

I am only appearing to speak

edit: I have no comment on whether the benefits of rsiding in Monaco outweigh patriotism, however if it was an option based on my circumstance then I would be well versed in it, and would not be commenting publically on whether Lewis (and the other drivers) had made the right choice

Great news, it seems this guy is a regular BBC reader, and I found another comment on the article about Webber leaving:

Good guy mark webber, love the fact kimi big fan of James hunt see his helmet celebrating hunt at Monaco, vettel had sterling moss, lewis well had a helmet about.... Himself. Enough said

This guy really doesn't like Lewis

...and corporations and their executives don't dodge taxes at every opportunity? More than tenfold I'd guess compared athletes.

I think one of our regulars who has gone missing here for a few days has a new place to vomit in.
