I think andrew was trying to direct the question at me but put it like he's asking you, since he's a bit too much of a w**p to direct any questions at me personally. But to answer both of you, I think it was a joke because of the way the technicalities panned out. No one was a match for Brawn for almost half the season. Not even close, and this wasn't just because of the 'best car' it was due to a technical loophole which was exploited quite ingeniously.

What made that year stand out for me further, was how Button almost lost the Championship in the end even after enjoying such a massive advantage in the first half. I mean, I thought Schumachers WDCs in 2001, 2002 were 'easy' but they convincingly won it unlike in 2009 just shattered those to pieces, I see it as a joke. But hey, that's just my opinion you have no reason to share it.

I think that any racer will not be happy if they can only drive at 70 - 80% of what they and/or the car is capable of, in my view these fragile tyres are making a mockery of the sport!

Seriously though it is a problem, and as a spectator I can imagine that you'd struggle to know what's going on with people's strategies and who's being passed where and why, with only your limited view of the track and no pit stop context.

Thinking about it, it might be very hard to follow a race now, with these tyres.

There are radio broadcasts and big screens everywhere, which do make it easier.

Yes, but it is getting away from speed and into strategy, I liked other Pirelli seasons, however this one is a problem.
