(im sorry, Ive drunk a big can of RedBull this morning, and my brain is spouting crap).

 Consuming a product of the enemy on the day they are assisting the prosecution of Mercedes...and you're a Lewis supporter?

To be fair, I'm sure he'd rather be driving an SLS than drinking a red bull.

If it was me, i'd take Mercedes points for Monaco and Canada away, and also give the other teams a 2/3 day test, for which Mercedes have to pay for but cannot attend.

Then at least that would make up any advantage that Mercedes gained!

Ok, so what about the points they make for the rest of the season - as these points will also have been attained using this 'advantage that Mercedes gained' ? No?

Well the other teams would also have the benefit of the 2/3 day test so doesn't it all equalize?

Jesus that would be pricey, also Ferrari had a tyre test, it was on an older car and ran by a slightly different set of people but I'm sure they gained some data on that too.

Yeah, sorry, I misread, and didnt see the bit about the 2/3 days test. Yeah, that would level it out. But as has been said before, not all teams will be able to afford to do that. So i think Mercedes should be banned from practice sessions, or maybe 1 whole race weekend, to even it up. Maybe Silverstone?

IF they are guilty that is?

How about to penalize Mercedes, by switching cars with McLaren, that would be so harsh that no fine or cutting champ points would be needed. 8-)

I know it would be expensive, therefore, under my suggestion I did say that Mercedes would pay for all the other teams to do the test, but cant attend.

Also, Ferrari did test and may have learnt something, however, Ferrari did it within the rules and this is the important fact. Ferrari used a 2011 car which was permitted by the regulations and therefore were in the right. Mercedes are clearly in the wrong!

Well from what the Sky Feed is saying, Merc are just rehashing the same defence since it happened - 'Not our test, so we didnt need to ask permission (but we asked Charlie anyway, and got a green light)' - and there was me hoping they would have some amazing get out of jail free card up there sleeve.

If this is all they've got, they are going down!

"Mercedes admit asking their drivers to wear uncoloured helmets was wrong and have apologised"

WTF? Who's this lawyer, Saul Goodman???? F**K, for a case which can be interpreted in so many ways, they apologize. Or are they trying to maintain as much transparency as possible and apologizing for matters which aren't important and can't really be punished for?
