Went to work, hit head against a wall, continued training my protege, hit head against wall, had a circular discussion with a numpty, hit head against wall, hit head against wall, hit head against wall, continued training my protege, gave up and went home, saw a chick with a see through skirt on the way home, read some crap on the internet and now watching a programme on alien abductions.

Oh it's a wonderous and esciting time(!)

To be honest, that's kind of how I feel. It gets worse - I've 2 more days to go of this crap. So by Saturday evening, I'll have no head left. :hehe:

I watched that abductiin program as well. I would want to vote that MP in who is the father of an alien race

Oh... I'd hate to see what your protege's head look like!

Whatever it looked like it certainly wasn't in the game today. One week and he's flying solo, but he's been taught by one of the best, who in turn was taught by the best.

I thought the (dyed) blonde woman's hair was an alien!

Just walked away from my contract for the house - the structural inspection showed too many problem areas for my taste.
Gonna look at another one, a 3-unit property on Sunday...

must have been a pretty list to walk away... no seller incentive to fix things or discount the sale price? I know you're a single mother so you don't have time to get into a fixer upper but sometimes those are the best long term investments.

Long and costly list with roof and electric wiring for 4 units - expensive!
Was 'as is', so seller wouldn't budge much anyway.

Today I am performing a heart transplant on my computer, bought a new case that has arrived, but waiting on the case fans and CPU cooler... everything is prepped, but I am being delayed by UPS not delivering my package yet... I hate waiting for packages.

desktops are becoming scarce! I don't know if I could commit to a laptop as my primary machine... customization was always half the fun of computer ownership for the DIYer.

This is my first build in more than ten years, been using laptop during that time as I had nowhere to put a desktop machine, now I have a room to call my office, I jumped at the chance to build a PC again. I really don't like buying off the shelf, you never know what qualify components were used. I don't think I could go back to working on a small (in relative terms) single screen laptop.
