Anyone really think those tyres were exactly the same spec as we have seen all season? Wouldnt bet against Pirelli having slipped in a new and more robust batch.

Also just wondering if Lewis is the first driver to lap a former teammate 2 years in a row at the same track

Well! Maybe Mercedes 'secret test' has helped everyone

Though Mclaren had a dreadful time, have lost their run of point sorting finnishes. I really wonder what will happen with this team.

I really enjoyed watching Massa race through the field.

And I loved the race between Nando , Lewis and Webber for second. That was like real racing again! Loved it! Bring on more of that!!

Sounds like the poor marshall has actually died

terrible news, thoughts to his family

Oh no!!! How dreadfully sad! Puts things in perspective. Don't really know what to say now.

Yep he's gone. Saw a tweet from Alonso and then checked it out on Autosport. Shocking. First marshall death at a venue since Melbourne 2001, am I correct? :(

The FIA has announced that a Canadian Grand Prix marshal has died following an incident at the Montreal track on Sunday.

The marshal was helping to retrieve Esteban Gutierrez's crashed car following the race when he tripped while trying to retrieve a dropped radio and fell under the wheels of a mobile crane.

The marshal could not be seen by the driver of the crane, and was run over - suffering serious injuries.

After being taken to the circuit's medical centre he was transferred by helicopter to the Sacre-Coeur hospital in Montreal for treatment in its traumatology department.

However, despite all efforts to help him, the marshal succumbed to his injuries on Sunday night.

The unidentified man is the third marshal to have been killed since 2000.

At the Italian Grand Prix in 2000, Paolo Ghislimberti died after being struck by a wheel that flew over the barriers after an opening lap crash.

The following season at the 2001 Australian Grand Prix, Graham Beveridge was killed when he was struck by a wheel that had flown through a gap in the safety fencing in a collision between Jacques Villeneuve and Ralf Schumacher.

Despite the Vettel win, was fairly entertaining to watch. Cannot believe Williams and Sauber this year, was reay sad to see Bottas just drop like that. Pretty pissed at van der Garde too. Could've been a 3 way Ham/Web/Alo battle at the end. Felt sorry for Sutil, thought his penalty was a bit harsh. Force India really have some great pace at the moment, definitely faster than Lotus today. Great drive from Vergne too, seems every race, one of their drivers does well, the other, not so much.
