if the Scuderia is playing with the exhaust.

I've heard of guys getting quite exhausted when playing with the exhaust.

Maybe Massa is losing his eyesight.

Hey Spanky, I will try and send you some high res shot for you to evaluate but I'll probably not get around to it till Monday night or Tuesday. What I did want to mention is that I'm convinced that Ferrari are doing something... maybe it's just the same but a little more than other teams. They sound so much different under deceleration than all other cars, just quite a bit more burble, and much deeper and pronounced noise than say for example the McLaren.

I'll try to pay attention to the Sauber cars tomorrow to see if it's just the Ferrari engine or if the Scuderia is playing with the exhaust.

Look forward to the pics mate. I know exactly what you're describing. The Ferrari has quite a distinct sound when they come off throttle (I guess that's what you're talking about). They use a helmholtz chamber on the exhaust which I haven't seen on other cars. I'll search for an image as I do recall seeing one, just don't remember where :)

**** Edit - found a pic of the helmholtz ****

With Felipe's accident, the team should start him from pit lane and run all the new bits they want tested. If they work, then it will give Felipe his best chance to get into the points, in any case it will give them a great chance to get 300Klms of testing in.

Will Pirelli run the test and provide some super tires? :P

Ferrari need Massa to finish in the points as they are falling behind in the constructors, because of the DNF's and the low point finishes.

ESPNF1 Lewis Hamilton says he would like to drive for Ferrari at one stage in his career but insists he is happy at Mercedes for now.

Having driven for McLaren since 2007 Hamilton made the switch to Mercedes for this season and is currently fourth in the drivers' championship. Having made the first move of his Formula One career so recently Hamilton said he wants to remain with Mercedes for a long time but admitted to F1 Racing that he shares the desire of many drivers in wanted to race for Ferrari one day.

"At the moment I can't see myself anywhere else because I'm really happy where I am," Hamilton said. "But what I can say is that throughout my racing career and through karting and everything Ferrari have always been one of the top teams and it's always a desire for any driver to drive for them.

"So anyone who gets that chance, no matter where you are or what car you drive, you look at a Ferrari and think: 'That's pretty cool.' But like I said, at the moment I'm really happy where I am and I hope Mercedes keep me for even longer."

Hamilton also said he'd be happy to race against any team-mate, especially Sebastian Vettel, when asked if he'd be willing to join him at Red Bull.

"I would go up against any driver. Any time, any place. Any team. Whoever it is, that's not a worry for me, I would have happily been Sebastian's team-mate. He has a great car, so it would have been a great experience."

...and spanky is left stammering.

Ugh...the same bloody spin drivers make in F1, I mean come on. While he was at McLaren 'this is the best team in the world'...and then he leaves saying he wants to 'start a fresh challenge at Mercedes like Schumacher did at Ferrari and achieve huge success' and now after 6 races "anyone would love to race for Ferrari"....if he really believes that now, f**k off already. Even McLaren has had more recent success compared to Ferrari, what have Ferrari won since 2007? Screw Ferrari, right now the team that KNOWS what they're doing is Redbull, and Mercedes is showing some serious signs of being the next big thing. If Lewis wants to jump ship again, he's free to leave and retire with 1 sorry bottom WDC.
