It's very early days, but just got have my first look at the >>lap times.<<.

What really jumps out at you is that the long runs seem to show this as a two horse race - Ferrari V Red Bull. For the race at least, the F138 looks very good to me and Nando looks a good 2 tenths or so better than Felipe. The Ferrari is known to struggle on Saturdays, but comes on strong in the race, but I think Ferrari would be disappointed if they don't get a car on the second row at least.

The next stand out to me is how slow the Lotus looks on the long runs, and the Mercs don't seem to be much better. As Hamilton showed, they will still be favourites to take Pole, but I think it will be a little tougher here for them.

Webber has 2 reprimands now, he didn't slow down enough in the yellow flag zone when Maldonado crashed at the end of FP1, one more means an automatic ten place grid penalty

We'll have a very short FP3 thanks to some stupid barrier at Turn 11 being repaired...for some reason they didn't do sh*t about it the whole morning and waited for the last minute.
