I think Lewis is the best thing to happen to F1 since Michael's retirement. Kimi is usually rated as the fastest driver currently in F1 but I put Lewis right alongside Kimi in that respect.

Actually, if we continue to see races where you can never predict where the teams are going to finish as happened this weekend, I'd say the loss of driver aids is the best thing to have happened to the sport in the past few years. But I get what you mean - he is certainly contributing a lot to the very nature of what Formula 1 should be, I suppose.

It's early days yet.... remember last season, when Raikkonen completely dominated and they said he'd walk it? Because not many people seem to....

Raikkonen was very fast in the race when he got some space to drive, i think the reliability issues could be related to last year's cooling problems, combined with the heat on race day (if i remember rightly it was Ferrari who had cooling trouble anyway). Massa looks very suspect however...

This season will (obviously) probably boil down to a battle between Raikkonen and Hamilton, i can't see Massa doing anything, and Kovalainen will probably do a better 'rear gunner' job, giving the slight advantage to Hamilton.

That is what you think. Well have I got news for you. Ferrari has the best car this year and in the end will win. Lewis Hamilton is going to have to wait just a little longer to become champion. Maybe when Ron Dennis is gone and McLaren is MERCEDES will anyone allow Mr Hamilton to win. Do not elude yourself with McLaren's apparent stroke of luck in the first race of 2008. Remember 2003? I do. Ferrari also mucked up in Australia and for the next 2 races after that may I say. The first win came in Imola that year which was the fourth race of the season and Hakkinnen in McLaren still got second place. But who won both championships in the end? We all know of course. MICHAEL SCHUMACHER and FERRARI. Why? Because Ferrari was the the best just like they are now. Wait and see and you will see that I am right. .

Also one who has high talent, intelligence and knowledge and does not tolerate any challenges from unworthy or unformidable opponents or parties. As far as the implementation of this in F1 is concerned, I choose Ferrari as it is very much the only thing worth fighting for and defending in F1, thus the term "Ferrari Warrior" or as I might also use "Ferrari Ratnika" (Fem) and "Guerriera Ferrari" (Fem).

And lastly I said Ferrari has been the most dominant this century. Alonso won 2 alongside Renault but Ferrari has won all the other years which is 6 years in total and this years win which we will get for sure will make that 7. Clearly Ferrari is the team of the century by far.

Second of all… what kind of warrior you are if you opted to watch Australian race in your home… because, if I recall well, 40C is too hot for you..? Much as I can recall, summers in Italy and Croatia can easily go over 40C… nothing you shouldn’t be accustomed to.

So… if you are for real, you’re just another armchair “warrior”, preferring to avoid some sweat then to give some real support to the team in the only race in your neighbourhood. And it seems to me you also hate McLaren more than you, actually, love Ferrari. Such a vain reason to be in F1.

I just hope Ferrari has better supporters/warriors around… Kimi deserves better… car, team, supporters...

Your an idiot as firstly you have just insulted me. How would you know anything about me seriously? In Melbourne there has been a heat wave. Something I AM ACCUSTOMED TO AVOID. I agree it is hot in Italy (Rome) where I lived most of my life and will return to live in the near future, and also in parts of Croatia. But Mr smarty pants you do not know me and who I am. Firstly I am from LJUBLJANA SLOVENIJA, 2 most of my family lives there, 3 in summer it doesn't occur that there are 40 degree heat waves there, and 4 during EVERY SUMMER THAT I CAN REMEMBER I HAVE GONE BACK TO LJUBLJANA for at least A MONTH avoidling any stupid heat waves. (When living in Europe of course) So maybe Mr Nikkon think before you speak or type as you know nothing about me, and stop thinking you know anything about me when you do not. And now I have had to say this to everyone on the forum because of your stupid inaccurate post about me which I had to correct and unrelated to F1. Next time if you want to take this stuff further, pretty please with sugar on top send me a private post. I am happy to discuss it further. Thankyou for you co-operation.

So from my point of view, your claim of being Ferrari warrior is fake. As it would be for me to claim I’m McLaren warrior because, hey, back in 2000 I was playing F1 video game as McLaren driver.

Speaking of temperatures, I’m 40, not in particularly good shape (too much time behind keyboard), yet I’ve spent 6 weeks last June and July in Prague, Budapest and Belgrade, walking around both cities at 40+C with big camera backpack full of weight… not the most pleasant temperature, mind you, but bearable with good hat, sun spray and plenty of water. Keeping in mind that air temperatures here in NZ rarely go over 25C, I presume I’m much less accustomed to 40C than you are…

… which takes me back to the point: real warrior wouldn’t mind a bit of sweating, and would “fight” for the team on the “battlefield”, specially considering that was the only race of the season on your turf, so you don’t have to pay for transport or hotel. Nikon, Nikon, Nikon it is like I almost have to tell you everything about myself. Like the reason why I would suffer to sit 2 hours in that heat plus the rest (when the race isn't happening). Lets make it brief as I don't want to tell the whole world everything. In the past I have been ill. Lets leave it at that. And as to your last comment about being at the GP not minding the sweat, I managed to survive it on the Saturday because I was there in the heat anyway. . I just didn't go on the Sunday. By the way was Belgrade any good when you visted it? *LOL*
