.......a simple you're an idiot and maybe a punch in the face will do.

To be honest, that should be standard penalty that the stewards use from now on. Forget grid place penalties, which obviously don't teach them anything, and anytime someone causes an accident, they get a punch in the face, and told they are an idiot. I think if, for example, Maldonado knew he would get his lovely straightened teeth punched in every race, he may buck his ideas up.

Who would do the punching? It would need to be consistent.

It would? Why?

No, I think the punching force would need to match the severity of the infringement. So for instance, when Kimi Raikkonen impeded Nico in Malaysian GP this year, he would get a swift sharp jab. But when some one like Grosjean takes out half the field almost killing Alonso, as in Spa last year, he would get a full running windmill punch to the face. or balls. Victims choice.

A roundhouse kick to the face would be acceptable then.

Provided such driver actually has balls...

Ok, just for equality: ...or fanny (UK, not US).

How about rather than punching, the offender has their pubes set on fire? The severity of the offence dictates how long the fire lasts.

In Grosjean's case it'll be a case of :hehe:
