Nice. I had a bottle of Jim Beam consumed (Mixed with coke) and Rakija shots on the side. Of course I didn't do it on my own. I had a drinking partner in which afterwards we played a game called "pola pola" or "half half" in which we had around 10 bottles of half a litre bottles of beer each. (So basically having half half each means I had 5 bottles myself in total of beer). I was totalled so at least a nice way to forget about my misery.

. By the way had Ferrari won I would of got totalled anyway. *LOL*

Oh well if the loss of TC clearly starts not favouring Ferrari from the next few races onwards and infact it favours McLaren, I'm sure the big bosses Mosely and Ecclestone along with the rest of the FIA and Ferrari will bring back TC. Afterall they cannot allow anything or any change that favours Ron Dennis' McLaren team continue to go on now can they? If it did infact happen like that I wouldn't mind of course.

Your right! I think Massa and kimi should start every race at 1 and 2 to balance out the advantage that Mclaren gain from no TC

The other Ferrari engined cars also DNF'd.
I'm sure those engines have been torn down and X-ray'd to the tenth degree to find out what caused pre mature failure.
Sometimes trying too hard will send you in the wrong direction.
It's only the first race; granted an embarrassing start for the horse but, next week they will be back with a vengence.
Hats off to McClaren as they ran a good race but, they stole one too.
Even if Ferrari had gotten a good placement from qualifications, it looked like their engines would of done them in.
Not being challenged really by BMW, who I thought made a remarkable upgrade from last year.
The 2008 F1 championship has started.

I doubt any F1 car is easy to drive. A few of the recent 'kids' to come in have come through GP2 which probably helps prepare them.

To use my phone in the car I deleted all my German contacts, it's now Hans free.

Quite true. I think a more feasible theory is that Felipe's engine was damaged in some way (enough to be considered damaged enough not to have to be used in the next race if he retired), but still capable of finishing the race. Since they didn't want to use up their free engine change, they had him retire so that they could replace it without penalty anyway.

I don't believe that one bit, but it's more realistic. He wasn't on for any points, they could (but most likely did not) order him to stop. So yeah...I think it was just an engine failure. Plain and simple.

Yep. Does anyone remember last year, where it was noted that Ferrari had cooling issues with their engines? I think this may have come back given the immense heat on race day.
