His FP3 crash looks less and less like "driver error" now.

Really? You think both incidents were due to some mechanical fault?

Gary Anderson speculated at a stuck throttle for his FP3 crash and the crash in the race was nearly a carbon copy. In FP3, the car didn't go into anti-stall when it hit the barrier as it was still revving and only the front wheels are locked, which I think would only happen if all the brake bias was to the front. Massa said in an interview yestarday that locking just the front wheels was very difficult to do and he was totally unconvincing in his attempts to convince the world it was "driver error". The lad ain't a good liar. :hehe:

I'm not sure the world was unconvinced, it just seems to be you

But you understand where I'm coming from? It is a very odd "driver error" for a very experienced driver.

Sure, but they had plenty of time to investigate between FP3 and the race, they'll probably do some more now.

I guess chances are, it was an error, but due to unexpected car behaviour. So a bit of both. But nothing "boke" or "faulted" in a physically measurable manner on the car.

Very well done Nico. This shows that Merc can win races.

I thought most of the field were poor today though. Lewis should have had 2nd and the Ferraris and Red Bulls were sh1te to be honest.

Merc is on the rise imo. Canada is one of my top three races of the season. Can't wait. :D

I personally don't understand some of the comments earlier in this thread saying it was a poor race. For Monaco, this was pretty decent IMO.

We had incident, we had passing, we had close calls. I loved it! No one scampered off into the distance or anything. One of the better races this season I would say.

Why all the sour attitudes??!?!?!

Just finished watching the race.

Alonso was not his usual self.

Massa strange accident twice

Perez good lad, this is what Mclaren saw in him.

Grojean not looking good for him

Rosberg I don't think many f1 fans at the start of the year would of said he would be leading Mercedes like he is.

Kimi... how did he get into the points!!!?!?!?!

On the last couple of laps, he managed to muscle past about 3 cars to make tenth spot. Good comeback.
