I dunno, the standard of driving in terms of awareness hasn't been terrible from him this year, but this weekend was stupid. I'm more puzzled by his sheer lack of pace relative to Kimi.

On another note, this snippet from Pérez is amusing (full interview):

"Kimi didn't give me any room, there was nothing I could do to avoid it. If someone could avoid the accident it was Kimi."

Does he seriously think there's nothing he could have done to avoid that? The move was pretty desperate considering how far behind he was.

Gotta love Perez! There weren't many out there making overtakes, its just not possile, but Perez did. Shame he didnt finnish but full marks for effort! He did some brilliant overtakes. Without him and the safety cars it would have been a procession. The kid is good!
Fantastic for nico  delighted for him!! Shame Lewis lost second , not sure why he was hanging back before that pitstop, I guess he didn't know the safety car would come then. Ross said it came when they were on the wrong part of the track. But v encouraging for Mercedes.
Brill from Suthil, I like this guy.
Button, whined on the radio again, got overtaken by his team mate and Suthil then lucked in at the end.
Drivers of the race for me , Rosberg, Perez and Suthil.

The kid ain't good - he's bloody wreckless and dangerous!

He put some stunning moves out there. The kid is good! A little unpolished as yet, but damn good!

Did he? From what I saw he was driving like it was banger racing!

Just saw the collision of Perez and Kimi, what was Perez thinking,of course Kimi wasn't doing anything wrong he can't just give him place to pass, and all of a sudden Perez tried to get in a place that isn't wide enough

What a stupid race, I honestly don't know why I watch F1 anymore - you've a stupid Mexican kid throwing his car up the inside of drivers where there's no opportunity to 'properly overtake'. As for Rosberg's win, it appeared to me that his victory was decided from the start - everything fell into place and no one challenged him - almost suspicious but I suppose that tyre test helped...

I'm off to cut the grass - it'll be more enjoyable and perhaps less predictable.

Well... this is Monaco, isn't it? You should be well versed by now.

In fact, by Monaco standards, this wasn't a bad one! It was certainly more entertaining than last year's Monaco GP, and also the Barcelona borefest.

I disagree, the moves were only good because far better drivers, kept their heads and made it so there wouldn't be contact, until well, Kimi just thought, f*** you", and it ended up in an incident. . . which as far as I can see, should result in a penalty for Perez, or at least the "forcing another car off the road" rule.

Exactly! it was a desperate lunge that was only going to end badly.

I bet Button had a wry smile when he passed Perez and his ailing car at the pit entrance.

So, the drivers involved in incidents today: Grosjean, Maldonado, Perez... the usual crew.

To be fair to Maldonado, Max Chilton did indeed close him up.

Grosjean, WTF was that??!?!?!! Shocking driving.

Perez, OK, too wild this time. It's about finding the good balance between having balls and being sensible.

Well put Chilton on the list then, also, I guess Binachi had plenty of incidents, none of them his fault, if I remember correctly he won here in GP2, in a dominant performance too. Massa crashed too.
