Alonso was funnily enough already giving up to Mercedes, even before the Quali. He basically said that if this is the race that Merc can win, so be it, but in the longer run, it's Vettel and Kimi he needs to beat.

Now of course Vettel is in front of him, but Alonso is still likely to be able to challenge the red bulls. To be seen, but Alonso and Kimi might let the Reb Bulls runaway and focus on the battle between them and Vettel.
2nd drivers as mentioned before I think, were huge dissapointments, Lotus better start looking for a new driver soon, especially if there's a risk of losing Kimi. Ferrari will always have a choice of drivers joining, and Alonso can keep a team up alone.

I don't think Massa's crash was Massa's fault.

Vettel's helmet is the winning helmet for me. Apparently, when the helmet reaches a certain temperature the black dress dissapears and 2 stars appear to retain 'her' modesty. :D

That didn't look easy at all, Nico and Lewis had to pull out a lap on their last runs in Q2 or get eliminated...that was the most tensed part of Q for me.

Really? That has to be the fu*k up of the weekend then....for Massa to make an error like that he was probably dreaming of Brazilian babes on the yachts of Monaco.

Massa must have been wearing a blindfold, just like the Lotus driver.
Blind men behind the wheel at Monaco. All the crashes so far have been amature night nonsense imo.

Can this lot not drive an F1 car? Maybe we need some fresh blood into F1.

Massa was very unconvincing in his interview about it being "driver error". He said it was quite difficult to lock just the front wheels. It is a bit of an odd crash, especially for an experienced driver. Apparently, the engine was still revving going into the corner and Gary Anderson has suggested a stuck throttle. Seems plausible especially after seeing Massa trying (and failing) to convince the world it was his fault.

Don't overreact man, Massa's actually been doing pretty good recently, he has ever since that pass in Singapore, which wouldn't have been more impressive if he was wearing a blindfold.

Go complain about Webber.

Binachi, is really being hampered by that car,

The BBCs highlights are rubbish, it's pretty much updating time screens, you barely get to watch anything!

Why would Massa say it was hist fault when it wasn't?

You tell me. Why was he so unconvincing in his interview?

maybe he was just embarrassed? Maybe he didn't give a damn about the interview?
