Bernie Ecclestone’s future as Formula One supremo could soon be decided after German prosecutors said they had completed their investigations into bribery allegations against him and would reveal their conclusions imminently.

It seems he may soon be going, or we can hope!

Please, I'd rather have Ecclestone at the helm rather than Whitmarsh...he might start campaigning for better looking drivers and team managers...which means Flavio will never have a chance to get back to F1.

There's investment and jobs at risk at every circuit, not just Silverstone. The BRDC have been seriously dragging their heel in improving the track and facilities, despite agreeing to do so. So it's not a stupid comment - it's a much needed kick up the backside of the BRDC which should benefit the race going fans! Mark my words, F1 will be worse when he goes. There will be less European races for a start and more cash-cow circuits in various deserts.

Silverstone have just won a lottery grant to build a heritage centre. There was no need for him to make stupid untrue statements to try and sound clever and upset people.

Oh goody another publicly funded waste of cash! Should be paid for out of BRDC funds, not something that could go to a good cause. But yeah, a heritage centre will really improve the track and the facilities for the fans(!)

It's what MrE is there to do - get s*** done. Threaten a venue with loosing a race should focus the track owners minds and make them improve the place. He actually does a lot of good for us fans but hey, just bash him. I doubt he cares.
