No disrespect to Button, but so far Rosberg has managed to do what Button couldn't, he's out qualified Hamilton twice on pure speed, no extraneous factors involved.

 full respect to Rosberg. He does his talking on the track. Hamilton is the accepted one lap king and Rosberg has beaten him at it fair and square. Of course I'd rather it be Lewis , he' my man, but I've no argument with Rosberg, great pairing, pushing each other and Mercedes forward.
Button was different and I'll answer that issue on the Button page, it's not fair to clog up the Race thread with Button related issues.

Hey I predicted Nico to be Hamilton's toughest challenge since Alonso, but many were like naah Rosberg is going to be flattened, etcetc...well let the games begin. :whip:

Hamilton was obviously holding back negative feelings right after qual, it was plain to see...but I like it when he's dissapointed, it just means he's forced to deliver and Nico is the guy who will keep the pressure on all the way. Great guy, great driver who finally has a superb benchmark in Hamilton.

Oh yes! Lewis was disappointed alright. He wanted that pole. Lewis can't hide his feelings, he's an open book. Heart on sleeve, emotions on face. But that was a fair fight and credit to Rosberg. Now go win the race Lewis ! :hehe:

Also, we know people don't like Button, must we here an insult every time someone wants to bring him up? I mean, by this point, you guys are just seeing what you want to see, and repeating the same points, which detracts from why other people have mentioned Button and the like. It's getting pretty well, unsocial able.

As a mclaren fan, I just try to ignore them......There are far too important things in life than trying to argue with haters of any kind...

No there aren't! :hehe:

The NAZIs could be described as haters on Jews, its very important to argue with them about that.

I wont argue with nazis, I would just shoot them :D

And like all haters they have a bandwagon. A bangwagon that must be jumped on!

It helps when you have a safe haven where name filters are not required.

Can we try and keep specific Button and specific Mclaren things in their own threads please, especially as its the race day.

Formula 1 drivers will have cockpit warning lights for the first time this season in the Spanish Grand Prix, with the FIA now happy that its electronic marshalling system is working properly.

Following problems at the first four flyaway races, the governing body had been forced to disable the cockpit warning systems because of problems that new supplier Riedel was suffering.

But having elected to stick with Riedel despite the ongoing issues, the situation has now improved.

A notice to the teams issued on Sunday morning say that the cockpit flag systems, safety car mode and DRS disabling will all be provided from race control - with the only issue now being automatic blue flag messages on the timing screens.

Well it is Alonso's. home race, I think there'll be a few waving today.

Just NOT an Alonso victory pls!! If the Mercs can't win, I'd love it to be Massa but his odds are astronomical.

Did anyone hear what Smedley just said to Coulthard? I was only half listening. Something about him takin a look in the mirror. Coulthard looked embarrassed and didn't reply. I wonder If Coulthard said something first to Massa? Come on what was it??????
