Everyone gets a penalty bar Webber, leaving him on pole...

Webber on pole? I'd put ALL my odds on everyone else winning!

The bottom of the sheet provides me with some excellent logos to copy for the sleeves of my shirt

Button didnt set at time at all in that session??
Ferrari's fast, as was Hamilton but traffic on his fast lap.

Rain during the first session so not much can be deduced. Everyone has lots of bits to test, but it is cruel for McLaren they really need to get testing done. Here's hoping for a dry 2nd session

Probably spent too much time looking for seating grip? But this is just a guess.

Does anyone know what happened to Button?

Testing new parts....as were most teams for much of the session.....and I think he had an issue with the undertray of the car. Perez only set one or two fast laps. I heard Button coming in the pits on the radio saying he'd got all nose, or something like that, which I guess means oversteer and he hates that.

Maybe bad weather had something to do? They said they don't have spears (of the new parts installed) so they want to avoid crashing or going into gravel... I didn't watch the P1 so I don't know what the weather was like, but since anyone else has set a time including Sergio, I doubt that was the case.

All nose would mean understeer I think.

No I think it's the other cos they said Jenson wouldn't like it, it was more Lewis'or Schumacher style that would cope with it. Think he meant the nose pointed and turned in ok but the back came loose. He likes the back planted......I think that's what it means.
