I spent the day at a driving school. I'm sun burnt, I'm tired, exhausted actually but I'm proud to report that I came back home a better driver than I left. :D

So you're a right driver now as opposed to a left? :P

So being a better driver means you can not drive a nasty car.

Then again Lightning Mcqueen almost won the championship and he did not know what opposite lock was

Big improvements were in car positioning and just pushing that little bit harder. I really made progress in the slalom and in the sweeping curves using the brakes just enough to transfer the weight distribution of the car a little forward to get a better steering response before getting on the throttle.

Things I still need to work on. Sounds stupid, but LOOK UP and LOOK AHEAD, at least two, maybe three elements on the course. I'm doing that but not consistently.

There was a woman there,in an Audi TT (nicely autocross prepped) in her late 50's if not already in her 60's that was an SCCA national trophy winner... grandma was QUICK! Now would you guys have had the courage to come on and admit that you were beaten by a grandma?

In my mugging stage yes all the time

:yikes: You had a stage where you mugged grannies?

Not too successful though, often getting beaten with a loaded handbag.

Today I went swimming for the first time in years, after 1500m I felt ok until I climbed out the pool and my legs felt like jelly (jello)

I don't think I can hold spiders like that...have held pythons, a baby crocodile, but a hairy little bug like that, don't think so.
