I'm just hoping for a non-Alonso victory. Vettel can take it if he wants (preferably Kimi but I dont know if Lotus can), and Mercedes to finish both cars in the top 5, a podium position would be a bonus.

Breaking News:Lewis Hamilton has officially overtaken The Fonz in race wins. With 88 races less. Lol(Without a specially built blown diffuser, illegal front wing, preferential treatment)

I don't really care about Vettel extending his lead or not...since his achievements don't really mean much to anyone. Just don't want Alonso to get too far ahead of Hamilton in statistics, since these 2 are the heavyweights of F1 and they publicly recognize each other as so. :wink:

Last year Lewis had pole by nearly a second then racesd from last to 8th. Both Mercs were in Q3 , Nico started 6th finished the race 7th. Michael retired. So there is potential there for a good result. I think Alonso will do well.

Other than 2011 I think Vettle's achievements do mean he's had to work for them. But I'd much rather see Alonso win a 3rd. So in Barcelona everyone will have updates and the calendar year begins, yo fo real.

I think we'll have a much better understanding of who is really where. If Mercedes really are going to begin to slide, we'll see it here. If McLaren are going to turn the season around, we'll see it here. If Ferrari are going to give Red Bull a fight at least for the constructor's title we'll see it here. If Lotus are going to stop their pendulum performance well see them strong here.

It's going to be a good Barcelona.
